Overview:

The Lawrence M. Gunther College Scholarship supports student athletes as they pursue higher education.

Dedication: 

This scholarship is named in memory of Lawrence M. Gunther, whose commitment to education, mentorship, and support of youth tennis continues to inspire the addLOVE mission. 

Award: 

Recipients will receive a one time $1,000 scholarship to help them cover:

• Tuition
• Room & board
• Educational materials

Eligibility Requirements:

•    Have a minimum 3.0 GPA
•    Be a graduating high school senior with a connection to tennis who plans to pursue higher education
•    Have been accepted to a four-year college or university
•    Have participated in junior tennis (high school tennis, USTA, or other tennis programs)
•    Be committed to playing Division I, II, or III college tennis OR committed to joining the club tennis program at their university. If no club tennis program exists, applicants must commit to starting one.

Deadline to apply: July 27th, 2026

Scholarship Winner will be notified by August 10, 2026

Applicants will be evaluated and selected based upon meeting eligibility requirements above and an established commitment to college tennis. Applicants will be chosen and scholarships awarded in Addlove’s sole discretion.
